Icecom Ltd. ranked in list of Rising Stars growth companies

Deloitte organized first time in Finland the Technology Fast 50 research, in which the fastest growing technology companies were ranked. In competition the companies were divided into two different categories according the growth of their turnover. In the first category the companies with five year growth rate were ranked and the first prize was clearly obtained by Sulake Ltd. which is renowned by Habbo Hotel games. The younger companies were ranked in “Rising Star” category by three year growth percent.  Icecom Ltd. obtained 4th prize in the competition. The first prize was gained by BaseN.

The Technology, Media, and Telecommunication Director of Deloitte, Mr. Ilkka Yli-Ojanperä, sees that the growth of the technology companies has a significant impact on development of technology sector and the employment in the field. “The aim of the Fast 50 competition is to support Finnish companies to gain global visibility, become more international and grow”, tells Ilkka Yli-Ojanperä.

Markku Hentilä, the CEO of Icecom Ltd., sees that the company has even more significant growing potential in the future. “We have been able to benefit from the growing interest of the market for the VoIP solutions and in the future we can globally offer more advanced solutions which will boost the business of partners.
