He has previously worked as Business Development Manager for operator TDC Song. “There is a growing need for new innovative service providers since Internet has made its breakthrough in the field of communication”, Mikko Elo states and continues “Skype boom shows that consumers are absolutely exhilarated by the free phone calls offered through internet. However, these phone calls represent just a minor part of the modern service offering that can be provided users with IP technology.” In addition to phone calls modern IP services also include several other communication ways such as sending pictures, videos, presence information and instant messages. Mikko Elo was developing the business operations of TDC Song in his previous work. He has extensive experience of innovative technolgies in the operator field. He has been co-operating e.g. with Finnish Television companies Maxisat and MTV 3 interactive, which according to Broadband Comparison published by Computer Magazine 2005, were awarded a prize for creating innovative broadband solutions.
